They repair, modify and guarantee their work. They always tell me 'If it doesn't work . . .bring it back within 90 days and we'll re-repair it'. I decided to go to Digitron in Montebello and I'm glad I did. Their hourly rate is currently $90/hour whereas The Video Clinic in Santa Monica (where I live coincidentally) is $140/hour. So I drove clear across town (not too bad without traffic). Eric at Digitron took care of me. It was $180 to service the camera - cleaned the heads, lubed it up, and aligned everything to spec using some special software. Not sure what the means, but hey, good service reasonably priced. And they got it to me quicker than they planned. They said might take 2-3 weeks, but it was done in less than a week.
